    My Inspiration for writing this poem Titled: (Where Love Exist) is reality is more fake than my fantasies.

    Find me in wonderland. A world created in my mind, A world I can withstand… A world where it’s real when we hold hands… Where we beat drums and play flutes like one band… Where when we cry it’s real and not to gain fans..  Here we don’t have two faced game plans.. We don’t scream for the people and shake hands with the same oppressors that will break your mans..  We grow food from the earth and build strong houses on our own land.. Where every person got a real chance…  opportunities to advance in farmland and not how many people can I brand to a corrupted political stance.. Where a jealous spirit have no legs to stand and the human on the other side is free to dance… where torture is banned… Where we reprimand in love..  A fantasy, I understand. I don’t care to look out in the waking world where every man can get it, especially the innocent, the fatherless, the motherless, those left behind, those who only hold one voice, their own in their broken hands… I will stay here in wonderland.

    A question for our ancestral slavers
    From my brown sisters, brothers, cousins—
    from all of us,
    still bearing the weight
    of history
    on our backs
    and in our blood—

    Is it too much to ask
    for our love,
    our loyalty,
    a lifelong obligation—

    to repay debts
    for the mere fact
    of our existence?

    Author’s Commentary:
    “Is It Too Much?” was written as a quiet but firm confrontation—a question posed not in
    anger, but in clarity. It reflects the enduring emotional and psychological burdens that
    descendants of enslaved people carry, and the audacity of expecting gratitude or loyalty in
    the absence of historical reckoning. Written on July 4th, it challenges the nation’s
    celebration of freedom while so many still carry chains made of memory, injustice, and
    silence.

    My Inspiration for writing this poem Titled: ‘Answer To Your Question’ is I support freedom of speech.

    I can’t share the guilt you feel for persecuting me without a crime.. you tell me to vibe high but hate to see my due process of crying.. You asked me “Who are you?” when I was never the one hiding.. I heard what you Really said through the shield of words. You, are really hurt. While telling me to smile the whole time you relied on and needed tears in my eyes.. As soon as I started to climb out of the gutter of binds you came back and argued with yourself 3 times.. and from my perception your perception is the definition of lying.. I’m sorry I can’t hurt for you anymore. I can’t be the one you look to and feel better because at one point I felt worse than you. I hope you feel better, this is me replying from my point of view. This cue is and always was Freedom of speech I’m reciting.. this is not personal I appreciate you for using your words too, from yours true, kindly.

    Readers thoughts: This poem inspired me to understand that freedom of speech is a right we all have and should never be treated as a crime.

    Darkness increases to cover the
    True beauty and purpose of
    a thing
    -Violence is the only knowledge of
    Mad men, their understanding is
    An unjust weight
    -Deplorable, disgusting, a stench
    In the nostrils of justice were liberty
    Is often denied
    -Where eyes once filled with hope
    And liveliness is darkened by
    Irretrievable deeds of souls
    Broken and hardened by the
    elements of self-hatred

    -What escape do they seek
    In hope of a borrowed redemption
    Where darkness excludes the
    entrance of light
    -We’re reminded that animation

    I have dyslexia.
    My thoughts have always been…
    those of an artist —
    but they don’t always
    come out clean.

    Sometimes they rush.
    Tangle.
    Freeze.
    Or scatter across the page
    before I can catch them.
    But they are still mine.

    I see in pictures.
    Feel…
    everything.
    Taste the weather.
    Carry music
    in my chest.

    My mind is a film,
    a painting,
    a long run
    through fields
    with ideas
    flying past.

    I’m neurodiverse.
    I think differently.
    That doesn’t mean I’m broken.
    That doesn’t mean I’m less.

    I remember —
    being a child
    in school —
    tiny hand gripping
    a big blue biro
    in my LEFT hand.
    And a teacher…
    placing it firmly in my right.
    Telling me,

    “Write properly.”
    But I couldn’t grasp it.
    That’s why now,
    I use both hands
    to write
    my truth.

    So why —
    when I use AI
    to shape my thoughts —
    do people act like
    I’m cheating?

    Do you shame a runner
    for using a prosthetic leg?
    No.
    You cheer.

    AI helps me express
    what’s already there.
    It listens.

    Sorts my feelings.
    And helps me give them form.

    The school system
    never knew what to do with us.
    It measured spelling —
    not soul.
    It didn’t see the art
    burning in our right-side brains.

    I’ve always loved art.
    Music.
    Mary Oliver’s The Journey.
    Beethoven.
    Jazz.
    Unbearable Lightness of Being.
    Running.

    Now —
    I walk in wild places…
    and feel

    every
    leaf.

    Would you tell Einstein
    his spelling made him small?
    Or Frida Kahlo
    her pain didn’t matter?
    Would you say
    my way of thinking
    isn’t valid
    because it moves
    in colour?
    In texture?
    In story?

    This…
    is still my voice.
    No less.
    No weaker.
    Just wired…
    differently.

    Constantly reminding myself what it means to be darker than what society has deemed beautiful

    From Bodegas in NYC
    the melting pot of the universe

    To narrow minded southern cities tucked away in “American “tradition

    My kind ain’t right
    Hair loc’d , lips asymmetrical
    Black is what my momma made me
    Proud to be who I am

    500 years can’t define
    My race, creed nor religion

    I stand a fixed in a place destined to gentrify my community

    Oppress my ken folk
    Leave my brother in the prison industrial complex

    Make it hard for him to learn the realities of the world outside a jungle context

    Dying to be free from the oppressor

  • What I Mean

  • Hidden Gem

    (Poem) “Hidden Gem”

    My Inspiration for writing this poem Titled: Hidden Gem is how at one point I could feel a form of confidence and then I discovered the true meaning.

    I used to think that confidence was a feeling to be spent.. but she was a dirty bitch, only to the money would she consent.. Making love to her gave me the respect I grew to love and resent.. She was hair and nails done and a car that I could only afford to rent.. I liked the way she spoke in my defense.. She even made them fear me in a sense.. Through their eyes she drew compliments.. but most of all she was a secure fence, from questions, from judgement, she could mold an audience only to hide my soul from its own intent.. until one day I realized the clothes she gave me were not mine but were lent.. What she gave me was an image while the real thing hid in its own suspense.. The image was always an expense while confidence the real thing didn’t cost a cent.. When I met her it was intense like meeting the real me renewed without the dents.. Now I don’t listen to mankind because they were all quiet when my mind was bent.. I used to look in the mirror and see a face but now I see a soul in my defense.

  • Sunflower Seed

    (Poem) “Sunflower Seed”

    My Inspiration for writing this poem Titled: (Sunflower Seed) Is in the past I never really considered the life of a bird.

    The colors of the birds I adore.. I look at them and wonder about the ventures they explore..
    I wonder if the ease of their stride matches the life they must endorse.. or are they misunderstood..
    some drowning for a drink of water because for them too taking a risk to learn to live is a part of the course.
    Now when I look at them I see what a survivor can be made of..
    From the way they fly I can see if there is a warrior inside the core..
    The one that almost drowned but won against the tug of the water soaking its wings, while drowning it, draining its life source,
    but something inside refused to be weakened by what at one point he thought was a greater force..
    Now he soars different.. stronger than before.. Now I understand him.. Now I see him..
    He is no longer a them or an it, but an individual who I can feel.
    Now he is no longer just a bird because his inner being won a great war.
    No he is much more.

    My Inspiration for writing this poem Titled: (Let’s Talk) is despite all of the amazing work put in from our Great freedom fighters of all races the hate in this country never diminished but only hid itself behind law and order.

    Let’s talk about the other segregation. In Coretta’s own words is worse than segregation. In 2025, still in rotation. Its covert disguise hides behind what I call the watchlist generation. O yeah this is a needed conversation. First off let’s call what it is once again nothing new its called discrimination. Remember this history repeats “we must be hateful to protect this Great Nation.” To make it all okay, attack the target’s reputation. The tactics of abuse mimic a prison’s isolation. Now let’s talk about which group is chosen for this slavery occasion.. Let’s just say it also mimics the prison situation. It is also used to close court cases. Sounds familiar “Don’t take it to trial, plead guilty because your odds are 30 years or 3 years probation.” If there is no evidence and you’re innocent and broke you can sit in prison for 3 years awaiting a possible salvation simply because you chose to take your chance with litigation, and lets not forget the targeted aggravation. and let’s talk about the goals of the other segregation, is to make exercising your rights into a mental retardation. The other segregation is the same segregation, targeted humiliation, the only difference is covert association.

  • Make It Matter

    My Inspiration for writing this poem Titled: Make It Matter is in the past I decided not to participate in a rigged game; then I realized I was allowing it to remain rigged by not participating where it matters. Credit to Coretta Scott King for telling her story which inspired my change of heart.

    Allow me to correct the old me. The version who thought only of the power of an individual forgetting there is no power without unity. Fighting every battle like its me against the world, me against racism built into a system. So yeah I told myself why vote when electoral votes take priority over the majority. But that is for who will be president but we decide who will fill the legislatures. We decide the seniority. We choose the prosecutor in authority. We decide which judge presides. We choose who will be fair and orderly. I looked to the top of the mountain before climbing and realizing that I too have some power in defining. The battle is first lost in the mind. You lose when you believe you have no part in refining and designing our society into a place where every human is given a fair assignment. Let’s never forget the righteous convictions that once defeated division spoken by the Great Martin Luther king Jr. “Give us the ballot and we will transform the silent misdeeds of the bloodthirsty mobs into the calculated good deeds of orderly citizens.” Lets not forget the great words of the Great Fred Shuttlesworth “You have to be prepared to die before you can begin to live.” Their courageous decisions gave us permission. Even President Kennedy understood the mission.  Each generation has to do their part to complete the freedom vision.

    My Inspiration for writing this poem Titled: Gold Standard is racism still targets the people who just want to see a restored humanity.

As I try to stop the blades from penetrating they say her cry’s are volatile, her tears are not real she feels no pain. After they take from me they say she has nothing standing in the court of law with no family is proof that she is guilty so that they can feel a sense of justice when they forsake me. Whether or not she committed the crime we have scraped away her grace she is no longer human now when I look at her I no longer see her face. Surrounded by a climate of hate placed in courtrooms and convicted without a case. I will tell you why they conspired to suffocate me and chased me to exasperate my tears until my eyes were dry and then they say i told you, she feels no pain it is okay for us to take and berate, she is not a woman, she is nothing but an ape! I say you will never break me, I am a woman. Your concentration to deface me only proves that I am the gold standard to the human race. I am a woman. My Elohiym hears me when I pray. You haven’t taken my ability to look at another human and relate. I feel connected to the best of the best, the connection with all of my freedom fighters, that, you can not confiscate. Connected to the present and history our fight is one, our voices our tears, our stories will forever congregate. We will clean each other’s wounds from your blade, as we strategize and facilitate.  Together we feel each other’s pain, joy and together our souls cry and elate. After all you took from me I know for sure my value you can not pay it is far too great, too sophisticated. I am the definition of 1st place.

Slowly dissolving love, truth, intuition and righteous instructions… the sensitive in spirit holding clear sight and hearing ears are targeted by weapons of obstruction. Succubus needing to feed constantly, drinking the feeling of another humans eruption. Only able to be satisfied for a moment destroying souls starts to become a sexual seduction. So what do we do? What do you do if your smile is real in the presence of a predator’s appetite eating everyone else to place all blessings in reduction. So focused on destroying but still needing genuine hearts and souls for production. What do we do? If they want your whole cup unaccepting of proportions. When they don’t want to deal with their own hurt and distortions?
    The only way to justify their decisions is to prove that you too will crack under this world of extortion. We must stay real on the inside, to pave the way, for the righteous seed to restore wins.

    Call em out

    (Poem) “Call em out”

    Individuals don’t like being called out, personally I think it’s healthy. I don’t mind telling a mf that they are acting funny at that moment and they can tell me to shit.
    Embarrassment is just an emotion, can’t always get in your feelings when somebody calls you out for not acting the way you are supposed to. shidddd, each one teaches one we all gotta learn.

    I don’t mind someone telling me I’ve stepped out of my lane. I rather come to you with how I’m feeling then sit back and complain, so I call ’em out. Some people may feel like what another person is doing is none of their concern but when that person is in your vibrational bubble what they got going on can easily be transferred!! And a lot mfs be know what they are doing before you call them out;

    they just don’t expect you to call ! I dont think it’s ok with knowing, but not doing better so if calling you out sets you on fire then baby you finna burn. Not telling a mf how they got me fucked up just to keep the peace is way beyond me, i rather a mf call me out then hold it in and resent me. Everybody shit stinks mfs act like the only people that can call them out is a perfect mf, when it ain’t even bout that, it’s more about Growth!

    You can’t grow without being exposed because Growth requires transparency. I’ll never burn a bridge with somebody who boldly tells me about me because I wanna be the best version of myself, and sometimes the closest people to you see things about you that you can’t quite see especially if you have that mentality like ” that’s just me”, that’s fine and all just gotta be ok with being called out otherwise you stunting your growth.

    I feel your pain
    smell the swelter that rises on a
    afternoon in a wooden slave shack
    hear chains in the metal sweat box,
    a human bake oven,
    fueled by the intense heat of a day’s hatred
    shiny backs stinging with salt, blood, and earth under a relentless
    southern sun
    as Miss Lillie fans herself in a shaded knoll.
    Your back ached,
    deformed by subservience,
    shoulders sloped like some fourth-class non-human,
    as you cut the cane that kept Miss Lillie.
    This was wretchedness
    locusts whistling in merciless highs
    and the humidity of rivers kissing your pores
    200-years, not long
    slavery’s undefinable sadness still exists
    What would I have been?
    field hand
    breeder
    cook
    mistress
    wet nurse
    rebel
    house servant
    runaway who was hung or punished
    Suppose I was born with a handicap or blind, incapable of
    physical servitude
    unfit for sale
    Would they drown me as a child?
    That may have been a blessing.

    Vibe high or die trying mfs in denial with their presentations so they live in illusions instead of actually producing anything, like getting married but disregarding the vows, mfs like to fill roles that make them feel powerful not even realizing that all the power they needed was already inside of them. Pssssh! Everybody “grown” till it’s time to GROWN. How can you live an abundant life if you can’t let what’s not meant for you go! How can you heal from trauma that you don’t even accept? You gotta be like yeah that happen to me but that’s not who I am! You gotta believe that your pain is not your whole story! Trying to put band aids on mental damage makes you vibe low and damage. “Hurt people hurt people” is just a lame ass excuse for a low vibrating mf to be evil. What you’ve been through should never be an excuse to be nasty, it’s gotta lift you up! Vibe high or die trying. I rather vibe high, I move around the naysayers and make away! I get what I give just not in a materialistic way? Ah MF gone pay for some shit that’s irresistible to their soul!! But when your spirit ain’t right, there’s some shit you just can’t afford. I’m a different breed, don’t get defensive when a MF talk shit about me cuz I expect them too, you too! I know exactly who I am and I choose to vibe high! In direct, will never gain my respect, I only pay attention to eye contact. Vibe high or die trying don’t worry about if a person ain’t who you want them to be just only accept the shit that’s for you and everything that comes your way will be true, mfs be so conflicted on the inside that they can’t help but to cause problem’s change your perspective and choose to vibe higher and you will look at shit differently by tomorrow.

    My Inspiration for writing this poem Titled: War hope & reunited is the war on the black race has been relentless.

    Dehumanize a man and take the land of the traumatized.. you fantasize of causing our babies
    suicide, the devil in disguise.. you colonized our pain to petrify our people’s brains,
    you want us all insane.. you want to tame the black man’s name. Your designs cause the black womb
    shame.. you assign your gang bangers to destroy and undermine where we unite and reside..
    because you never had joy you took the people for a toy. No thank you, to your planned
    genocide.. I’d rather have peace on the inside.. your biggest trick was getting our people to
    undermine their own kind.. in the hopes of moving up to a
    high-rise..
    With no love around we say to one another, dog eat dog so it’s all justified, no lie you got
    our arms tied.. No knowledge of the Most High, so there’s no settled mind.. trying to be god, the
    minds of the people, through division, you customize. You itemize another’s hands and place your face
    to be idolized.. hushing the cries of the hypnotized. You got what you wanted, any means
    necessary, but the love of god you denied.. but you want the joy from his people’s eyes..
    so you kept taking until you neutralized.. but now once again, we arise, holding hands where you cut
    the line, revitalized to help our own kind..

    When you got eyes to see, you can’t be drinking and popping ecstasy.
    The serpent creeps, in the hearts of the ones that you trust when you sleep.
    There was a boy, ten years old and wise as can be.
    His first drink of milk came from his mother when she used to be a peach.
    Ten years later, the look in her eyes is deceased.
    Another soul eaten in the streets..
    The soul snatcher whispered in her ears, and told her take away his peace,
    So she offered him alcohol to destroy the lad while he was weak..
    For a while, he became an alcoholic, and the soul snatcher grinning thought he had the boy for keeps.
    Set up from the start, he saw no hope in reach.
    So he tried a new thing and looked up to the sky,and asked the Most High, to clean a soul that reeks.
    The serpent losing his grip offered him every drug, from A to Z.
    Desperate to kill the man before anybody sees.
    With the fire of the Most High lit within his eyes, there’s no way to stop the future prodigy.
    This time, he will fulfill a righteous man’s prophesy.

    What happened to land of the free, freedom of speech?
    But every time I speak it’s like I’m getting vexed.
    So freedom must be the real threat..
    Fortune 500 companies worried about my next flex.
    Worried that free speech might just free the pets.
    What about the right to protest that they won’t protect?
    I know the system see them trying to hex.
    Makes me wonder who’s really causing wrecks in the complex.
    If voting changes things, then why does bondage keep returning through a different text?
    The people are tired of being slaves!
    We need to rest..
    All that you promised is up next.
    Before I sign another ballot, no more switcheroo’s.
    I want to see us all blessed.
    No justice, no peace.

    Black people screaming, me too, I hate you! My brother with the same hue. My sister with the
    same bruise.. I want my pain to fit your shoes, and to get my game I’ll bury you! Like the other colors
    do, because my enemy looks like me singing the same blues. I stand down to them other dudes.. you see
    I follow my hidden enemy’s rules.. my target is you! My people was taught different from other
    fools, that’s why I hate you, because we’re from the same crew.. that’s how I survive under my
    oppressor’s roof. Damn this gig is rigged. I want to be one of the few to break the chains loose.
    No more will I annihilate my own group. I won’t be the cause of the tape that got us mourning

    The house on the hill no one dares to oppose.. but the house will burn if the flowers grow.

    I will always repair the breach…
    I can only be down for so long before
    I offer my own hand to reach..
    looking disaster in the eye, I tell
    resolution to pull up a seat..
    my broken heart goes to war.. torn in

    The changes of life is a mystery that at times
    I rather leave unsolved… but with no investigation of the unknown I can never evolve.. so I walk
    down the dark hall not knowing what’s next or

    Thank you Father for giving me life and making sure my soul glow like your glorious light. I believe in salvation as well as revelations because without you Lord there would be no inspiration.     My inspiration for writing “Take A Bow” is that everyone is playing a role. I rather sit in a room with an enemy who tells me they are my enemy; than a friend who is not real. -Author Urban Poems-

    Now that I know that it’s all fake.. that it’s all an act.. I’m on the battlefield fighting to bring the real one’s back.. let’s talk about trust issues.. if I didn’t have any before, I got them now.. and that’s a fact.. Which is a good thing in this dessert filled with snake attacks.. I’m so disappointed to see leaders are nothing but copy cats.. with no original thoughts on their racks.. I definitely don’t want to talk to a bunch rats.. I gotta ask?.. where the real one’s at?.. social media has created a world where everyone is wearing hats.. no one is doing the inner work when you can just copy where you lack.. I’m getting rid of all fake ones and creating a real stack.. so if you don’t like what I’m saying.. it’s time for you to pack… I don’t feel no remorse for admitting that you’re wack… I gotta ask once again.. where the real one’s at?

    My inspiration for writing (Is This Life) is the hamster wheel that society has created. By no means am I saying to quit your jobs but I am saying use them as a stepping stone to buy some land or get back to what’s natural.

    Working a 9-5 are vital survival hours.. after dealing with a toxic supervisor stressing you out abusing you with their powers.. now it’s 6 o clock you finally making it home looking forward to a shower.. so 7 rolls around.. your kids looking hungry thinking where’s ours.. you’ve been on your feet since before the sun came up.. but it’s all on you, there’s nobody there to give you flowers… I know you’re tired and it’s easier said than done.. this life we live devours.. we were made to live off the earth… made to give birth… made to work.. in our own farms but the money is our curse… take me back to the old days when we knew how to use herbs.. When building our own homes and drinking from wells fulfilled our thirst.. comfort is the demon that’s putting bodies in a hearse.. fast food and no time to work out is why our bodies hurt.. most of us wouldn’t survive a day in the wild.. so what are we really worth? All of our skills were swapped for comfort.. we traded life for a purse.. I’m not saying quit your jobs.. but find your way back to living.. nothing grows without planting a seed first..

    My inspiration for writing (Un-tied) is me knowing that there will always be adversity in life; but it won’t stop me from moving forward. -Author Urban Poems-

    Damn I done been a lot places.. All alone but surrounded, I done filled a lot of spaces.. It don’t matter who you meet it’s like it’s all the same cases.. just different faces with different emotional fazes.. But the eyes never change they reveal the true bases.. I’ll never forget the eyes of the one’s I called my aces.. When anger rose, I found out most were really just my foes..  I sit back and think of all the different gazes.. Fake love had me stumbling at different stages… The more I try it’s like they shoot me from different ranges.. All the times I held it in I’m releasing all my rages.. No more playing nice I’m releasing all my gauges.. Shot out to all my haters, the more you try, Abba Yah gone give me all my raises.. First I’m give him all his praises.. I will always rise you could never stop my wages.. Since it seems I’m the problem then release me from these cages.. I’m done with all your killer hazes. Your jealousy, Untied me from your knotted laces.. Just leave me alone.. .. Go be happy.. And let me decipher my own mazes.. You’ll never see me again.. I hope that solves your problem.. Now who you gone blame for that black heart that got you loosing all your race’s.

    The inspiration for writing (God Didn’t Stutter) is most times the people that say someone else is in a cult don’t even follow or understand the bible they claim is their manual for their own religious beliefs. This is not to say there are no cults; but the term is often used to bully those who don’t want to follow the crowd. Anything that corrupts the Most High’s ways are the real cults. Always use your discernment.

    I heard that a small group of organized people with the same beliefs were a cult… religious beliefs or practices regarded by others as strange or Sinister is googles top search results… If you ask me a large religious group is bullying the little people with organized insults.. So I guess the broad path is what the world instructs..It doesn’t matter how many people self-destruct.. that was made clear in the normal consult… I and a small group of people still believe that the Messiah came to make mankind’s laws erupt, without changing not one pin drop of what the Most High constructs.. so does that make us a cult? For following our father’s rules that mankind attempted to corrupt.. my father says in his word that the path is narrow so following the crowd should make you to hit a screeching halt… So what is a cult? My new definition of a cult is the broad path that made many lives end abrupt.. sounds sinister to me.. sounds like Satan’s worshippers to me.. So how do you believe in God if his word you chose to deduct? You can’t have it both ways it’s time you bow down on your knees and stop counting on your luck..

    My inspiration for writing “In due time” is it seems the more you try to be a decent person, the more people give you problems. I wanted to give some validation to people going through this by letting you know that I get it. You are not alone. You deserve to hear that sometimes.     Let’s be honest, you were nominated… Guilty for being honest is the reason why you’re hated.. incriminated for daring to go against the zombie matrix.. They chose the life of being faded.. hearts drunk and infiltrated.. your presence makes their life a little complicated.. their forced to think about their actions and can no longer be exonerated.. so they team up to make your logic seem underrated.. but always asking questions just to make you feel shaded.. they want you irritated… Attempting to make your soul dark jaded.. saying join us the darkness is highly rated.. join or prepare be agitated.. with their demons fully concentrated.. it’s like their demons infatuated with keeping you suffocated.. all to stop you from navigating.. so you choose to be quiet, now they mad you won’t escalate it.. doubting your strength, they really thought you’d be dominated.. but it’s time you feel validated.. moving on your heart is truly unpenetrated.. maybe scarred, but God is why you’re vindicated.. through it all you’re amazing, you’re smart, you’re caring, your laugh is needed and appreciated.. this moment is for you it’s time you feel elated.

    The inspiration for this poem (Never Cross Yah) is reminiscing on each time that I went against God to please a person there were consequences. Each time that very same person would turn on me. It is almost like the Most High says if you value their opinion over mine, then I will leave you to it but without my protection. By going against God you are hurting your own relationships with others. God knows what is best; it may hurt their feelings for you to say no today and save the relationship for the long-run. Then again, sometimes certain people don’t need to be in your life. -Author Urban Poems-

    Man I don’t even know where to start.. but fuck it you let us get to this broken part.. all I can feel is a broken heart…torn in this broken place I call the dark ..this time you did it… As strong as I try to be I can’t take this dart.. to the all the one’s that planned this you won.. I never said I was smart.. so what made you wanna break me down to this broken art.. you tricked me into sinning for you, making my father Yah depart… as hard I tried to stand it seems that evil broke me once again..you won again.. at least in the sight of man..     I don’t care to argue or to get the last word, at some point I don’t care if I’m even being heard.. I just want peace and silence, I know it sounds absurd.. But I only care to talk if we can really merge. So I shutdown my talkative urge. And release all toxic thoughts in a much needed purge.. Placing my thoughts in a creative surge..     This Poem (Social Anxiety) is inspired by how the current conditions of the world have taken us out of our natural habitat. -Author Urban Poems-

    Social anxiety is plaguing our society.. Kids becoming psychopaths due to no variety.. Going outside is a chore due to media commodities.. Parents act like kids while telling kids to slow it down.. Isn’t that hypocrisy.. No more time to read a book or learn to cook, just stuck in ya phone trying to look, this whole gig is mockery.. Are we just slaves to democracy?.. Go to work, eat fast food, get on your phone and go to sleep, do it again.. we really chilling in atrocity.. Then we die at 65, when did a life not lived all happen in such a short velocity.. It hurts to keep it real but I gotta give you honesty.. This is the average beings philosophy… We’ve all been studied and controlled by scientists methodology.. If you go against the grain they study your whole psychology.. to create new distractions made just for your kind with all of their technology.. Perfect warfare to kill your soul all done with no apology..

    This Poem (Lake Of Souls) was inspired by a reminder to not get left behind. Listen when you hear the warning calls. Help others always; just don’t lose you in the process. -Author Urban Poems-

    Don’t get left behind with the boy smoking cigarettes and the mom feasting on pork until her burst.. Don’t get left behind.. Don’t drown your soul in the lake After the most high already told you it’s time to leave the curse.. You heard the alarm but you looked back and got left in the underworld… In the lake digging for souls while losing yours.. You dropped yours while digging for the forbidden.. Every time you reach you find another soul but where’s yours.. Last call the doors are closing you were given a secret exit.. Why did you look back? Now you roaming around and you look for another exit.. Then you find one.. But then you look to the right and in this room you see your cousin.. Tied to a chair.. But all the doors are closing.. You know your cousin chose the world.. But you love him.. So you try to save him and you end up in the lake.. Pulling out every soul but where’s yours? Then you get out leaving your soul behind and all the streets are empty and full of smoke.. Then you meet the pork eating lady and the boy smoking cigarettes. Damn now you wishing you would’ve listened to the last warning call..

  • This Is Peace

    (Poem) “This Is Peace”

    This poem (This Is Peace) was inspired by the amazing feeling of sitting outside enjoying the sun. -Author Urban Poems-

    As I sit outside gazing at the green grass, as I look at the beautiful flowers.. I feel the warmth upon my head as the sun towers.. Sitting slightly in the shade to avoid the heat’s full powers.. While Dandelions stand tall from the morning rain showers.. Now that it’s dry, I lye bare feet in the grass absorbing the nutrient deets.. As the birds chirp with their tender beats.. This is soo nicee.. so I close my eyes and lightly drift to sleep.. As the earth caresses me with her gentle sheets.. Prompted awakened from the buzzing bees..  whilst the wind blows in such a gentle breeze.. not sparing while sharing her energy with the trees.. the leaves are beautiful as they blow with ease. not worrying about my phone as I let the voices cease. Thank you mighty Yah for this special kind of peace.

    (Poem) “Pick A Side”

    This poem (Pick A Side) was inspired by the knowing that when you do what is in your heart there will be others who don’t like it. You will face the creator alone. -Author Urban Poems-

    There is a cuss word used in this poem; not a curse word. Curse words are words or sentences used in ill will towards another person. Example Psalm 109:17  As he loved cursing, so let it come unto him: as he delighted not in blessing, so let it be far from him. Just the same as blessing is to do good cursing is to do harm. As you can see from this scripture and many others with the actual words curse or cursing in it that the meaning is to despitely cause harm to another with your mouth or actions. You can “curse” someone without using a “cuss” word.

    There are still considerations

    In spite of that, I do believe that it is discourteous to use cuss words recklessly; even if they aren’t used to cause harm.

    Today I sit and think, no matter what you do… You gonna make somebody unhappy.. I  think that’s why most people just try to keep it classy.. With no genuine bonds in this new world making us all whacky… So fuck it, I choose to tacky.. You think you being sassy.. While throwing shade with a smile knowing yo attitude is snappy..  Why you mad because my hair nappy.. I’m drawing a line in the sand because I could never make human brand happy.. I chose my hand.. between the Most High Yah and Man.. I had to pick a side.. Because two tracks can never be ran.. Unless you switching sides so maybe it can.. I love when the fake ones show their true colors that they can’t stand me.. So I’m firm on where I stand.. Following Yah’s plan.. He makes life worth living.. He might bless me with some land… Somewhere safe from where his wrath lands.. He might bless me with a full life span.. After that, I’m tryna get to heaven to join in with the Holy band.. I chose my side, father Yah I’m your biggest fan..

    My inspiration for writing this poem (No More) is wanting to be free from people that took my kindness for a weakness.

    I imagine the day that I cut you out my life.. I imagine the blissful day when I cut off all this strife, no more reopening my wounds with your bladed knife.. No more fake smiles keeping me up at night.. No more faking like we really tight.. No more energy draining shady slights.. No more of your darkness draining my lights. No more of you preventing me from reaching new heights.. But for now I’m patient pretending it’s all alright.. My enemy will only know when the time is right.. Only after I already won this fight..     The inspiration for this poem America’s Heroes is a reminder that the world has devalued black and all melanated communities for their own purposes. In addition to give encouragement that there is hope if we apply ourselves. America’s Heroes -Author Urban Poems-

    Negroes! The one’s the world calls zeros… The ancient one’s that were here even when Christ rose. We’re the one’s who America imposed. With different methods like mental bondage through videos.. During the times of Moses we were tortured with physical woes.. To keep us off our toes.. Trust me the world knows.. It’s time we take a stand and finally open our nose.. Division is the game it’s time we learn that we were chose. But we gotta play our roles. Suppose.. we can win against our foes… If we follow God’s plan exactly” the way it goes.     This poem(I Don’t Like You) was inspired by trying to forgive someone who is not worthy. -Author Urban Poems-

    As hard as I tried to hide it.. I can no longer deny it.. I don’t like you, it’s been decided. How do I describe it? I tried to like you but our spirits are in a riot. A knot tied so tight, I can no longer untie this. Or forgive your diss. I can’t forget.. My heart is scarred by your hiss. I can’t help but reminisce. No more gasoline, I refuse to be your trampoline. I’m tired, I refuse to be the place you lean. Preventing me from feeling clean. Got my mind cluttered.. with all the words you uttered.. You made my words stutter… Had me climbing out the gutter… What’s done is done. If it makes you feel better, you won. Now I walk, not run.. while looking towards the sun..     This is a form of expression, and whoever says no cursing, with all do respect, I never
    asked you for your version, we two separate persons… I don’t
    listen to coercion. It’s simple, just respect my boundaries I protect. That’s a bet,
    I’m not upset but it’s a line I must set. So now I gotta jet, it’s a lot I gotta do, that
    I haven’t done yet, at the end of the day it’s all about respect.

    (Poem) “What Is Freedom To You?”

    A friend inspired this poem (What Is Freedom To You) by asking me to write a poem about freedom. To me it can mean different things to different people. -Author Urban Poems-

    What is freedom to you? Is it a pill when feeling blue? When you’re tired and feeling through..Some say freedom belongs to few… but there’s a different point of view… So I ask what is freedom to you? Is it the power to choose? kid’s say, just choosing my own shoes, while in prison it’s just having a choice of foods. So what is freedom to you? Is it breathing in fresh air? Or living without a care? Or is freedom just a dare, since the options are never fair. Your right to choose is rare. So what is freedom to you? You ask what’s my point of view. I realized that it’s true, that only God has the clue. So what is freedom to you?
