(Poem) “Win Inside”

Gold lies in a tortured soul.. trapped inside is a story never told.
With the chains of fear grasping a firm hold.. when the door is open, it appears as closed..
The house on the hill no one dares to oppose.. but the house will burn if the flowers grow.
Fighting to live, the house starts to mold, poisoning the minds of those in tow.
Who dares to leave the house of old? Buried within is the flower of hope..
To be free from the dirt is to approach one’s woes.
Who will overthrow?. the flower or the mold?
Not many will return from the house on the hill, at the end, of the dead end road..

Made up of 19 lines and five stanzas of three lines goes by the name of Villanelle. Limerick creations are funny and at times can be rude. Ode Musically performed pieces are nice on the ears. Particular subject Elegy is clear and direct. Last but not least there is Ballad that typically tells a dramatic emotional story.
