    My inspiration for writing (Cheer Up) is I want you to laugh today or at least smile. -Author Urban Poems-

    I want you to laugh today, go ahead put smile on your face.. I want you to know that everything is going to be okay… You with the glowing eyes wipe them tears away.. it’s been to long, the world needs a little peek of your grace.. your genuine vibes are comforting like a warm embrace.. I gotta say, your goodbyes are always sure to leave the loving scent of your trace.. your inner beauty is like the perfect molding of clay.. Your imperfections complete the mold like the heat from a beautiful sun ray.. so go outside and dance a little and bring along your playful sashay.. and before you reach the end this day, close your eyes and remember to thank God when you pray.

    (Poem) “Me And You”

    My Inspiration for writing (Me and You) is we are all on our own journey in our relationship with the Most High. -Author Urban Poems-

    It’s just me and you in this world full of people… You’re my father, my provider, my comforter, the one who saves me from the sheeple.. you are the one that’s always regal.. during persecution, I block out the reaper, and think of you, you are my keeper… Making me strong when I am weaker… I realized that it’s all about you and your believer’s.. nothing else matters in this world full of seekers… Their just players on the board to make our love for you grow deeper.. I cry tears of joy while looking past all deceivers.. standing with you alone I am not a people pleaser… No more being triggered I am not a demon easer.. Stop wasting your time fighting me, I am not your pain reliever… I win fights without trying, call me the demon beater.. it’s the holy spirit that puts those demons in the heater.. I’m seasoned by the Most High God, he will always be my leader.

    The inspiration for writing (It Don’t Love) is anything gained through wicked deeds is not worth having. This poem is about a person struggling with their own demon and the damage that the demon causes them in their life. -Author Urban Poems-

    That demon don’t love you.. he just gone use and destroy you.. he just distorting your clear view.. that’s why you jealous with no clue.. It’s facts that karma don’t fear you.. that demon plotting your trauma.. he got you starting more drama.. he got you mad at your spouse.. he got you hating your mama.. he got you thinking murder.. he used you to be his lurker… He thinks you gone be his burglar.. he gone pay you with a burger.. he gone keep you going circler.. you’re his main target.. he don’t want to see you further.. open your eyes.. don’t plan your own demise.. don’t fall for his disguise.. don’t let him steal your prize.. the devil only lies.. you woke up again.. so you got another try..

  • Dead To Me

    (Poem) “Dead To Me”

    This poem “Dead To Me” is personal to me. It is inspired by people who I wanted nothing but the best for them. In return they wanted the worst for me. This entire poem is how I truly feel deep down in my heart to my bones.

    Our friendship is over… I’ll never trust you again.. truth is.. you really dead to me.. now that all your lies are revealed.. Let me tell you how I really feel.. I don’t hate you but don’t tell me how to forgive.. you have no right to tell me that moving on means that I must relive.. you took my love for weakness.. coming from you it hurt the worst… All of the plots that you concealed… It’s okay now it’s over.. your pleas fall on death ears.. this case can never be appealed.. you held a place in my heart but so does the memory of the hurt that never healed.. I’m sorry but it can never disappear.. The thought of you just makes my hurt reappear.. the part of you that I loved was never really real.. While I was building you up.. you was going in for the kill.. you thinking how dumb she must be that she can’t see the spit that’s in this meal.. but I saw it.. I saw a demon through your veil.. the jealous kind.. that’s what made me seal the deal.. I don’t want to talk it out.. I placed you in the darkest part of my heart.. in this place I forget you ever lived.. I know it sounds cold but I’m not seeking for revenge.. when you think to call me evil.. remember before my heart turned cold.. that you tried make me kneel.

    Bae I was so mad at you… But when I look into the future all I see is us two.. Loving each other through the good and the blue… Who said love was easy… That’s why real love is few.. As long as we work together, there’s nothing we can’t do.. Let’s put aside our pride and let our hearts beat on cue.. With you by my side I never stress when the bills are due.. Because I know as long as I got you even if we broke we still brand new.. From the day that I met you I already knew.. That we would last forever.. God and determination now that’s the real love clue..

    Part 2

    We all know that demons attack marriages right.. Looking for any cracks where yo love ain’t really tight.. Catching you when you slipping hoping you might not even fight… But bae I love you.. So I can’t miss this flight.. This chance to unite.. So we tell them demons if you tryna box.. Let’s meet up tonight..  We start praying to get our spirits hype.. Yeah we got’em shook , they never would of guessed that we was the praying type.. So we blocked them demon bites.. No matter what they do me and you gone be alright.

    The night sky sometimes reminds me of my lover’s eyes
    Peaceful and relaxing like the early morning sunrise
    I love you through the tough times
    I love the way your smile shines
    You bring my soul chimes
    I love your calm vibes
    It’s like relaxing on the beach near the ocean tides
    I love our late-night rides
    Got me feeling like your ride or die
    Like my soul tie
    Laughing as the car glides

    This poem (Love Shed) inspiration is the destruction of the black mind. Which is occurring from manipulation, brain washing, abuse, and convincing us to be comfortable all by design. Oppression comes in many forms. -Author Urban Poems-

    How did you steal love from a whole race? What made you want a man to hate his woman’s face? What made you think to take that woman’s grace? Telling the whole world she’s in last place. Turning our men into pretty trends, through rose colored Lense, we think it’s comedy for our men to be in a wig just to make it big. Doing anything to blend in a society that wants to see the black man come to an end. Bbls are taking L’s to be this lost our people must be under many spells. While we’re busy chasing our tails, we’ve been deceived in a system set up to make us fail. All by design..We hate each other, so our unity is frail. It’s time we wake up, and break ourselves out of this damn hell. The only way to win is if we submit and follow God’s trail.

    (Poem) “I Love You”

    The inspiration for this poem (I Love You) was to motivate someone that I love dearly. -Author Urban Poems-

    Saying I love you is something I never do, but it is long overdue.
    I would say be strong, but I only require you to hold on, for you, and for me.
    It’s okay if you fall to your knees.. like we all do.
    As long as you find your keys and don’t get caught up in the trees.
    Just follow the breeze.. back to peace.
    Don’t get broken by the fees.
    Don’t you listen to the bees designed to steal your ease.
    It’s something God wants you to see, to make your demons flee.
    What could that one thing be?
    Happiness is a mood that we’re accustomed to, but it doesn’t make sadness untrue.
    We need sadness to help us steer our view.
    Acceptance is the clue, to find out what’s true, to help you find your cue.
    Don’t give up when feeling blue, because you always make it through.
    Always remember, I love you times two.
