(Poem) “Quiet Place”
My Inspiration for writing this poem (Quiet Place) is sometimes the noise becomes overwhelming. This is for the days when you don’t want to be expressive; when you just need a moment to exist without defending or offending.

I just lay here in this quiet place.. clearing my mind of all haze.. a reset,
to start better days. In this moment there’s no drama causing delays, no
debates, about how to stop fate. As long as I stand on the right side before it’s
too late, I’m confident that the God I serve, served me the right plate. So I’m
quiet right now.. not feeling the need to relate. I’ve seen too many people who
only want to take. So excuse me if I need a moment, to keep my own foot, out of the
fire-filled lake.

Particular subject Elegy is clear and direct. Last but not least there is Ballad that typically tells a dramatic emotional story.
