(Poem) “I Won’t Forget”
My inspiration for writing this poem (I Won’t Forget) is a reminder that if a person shows no remorse always remember how they treated you; even when you forgive them.

I will always remember those who chose to be my enemy. Unforgetting I will be, until the end of
me. I never received an apology, so there’s no surrendering.. no mending, to the pain they kept
lending, supposedly I offend the pretending.. but that’s okay because the truth is avenging,
especially for the people that the lies are bending. Who’s paying the price for evil to keep
ascending.. I’m tired of seeing the same thing trending, it seems like for the just, just laws
are still pending, when it’s all said and done poetic justice is the story’s ending.
All Poetry at Urban Poems are for expression only. This particular poem is titled (I Won’t Forget). Artistic writing literature provides concentrated awareness; that is imaginative. What’s more, these forms are Haiku; which is an ancient form of Japanese expressions. There is free verse, and it is a modern version. Its meaning is the freedom to write in any form.
Furthermore 14 lines Sonnet writers deal with love. Moreover there is Acrostic, which spells out a name, word, phrase or message with the first letter of each line of the poem. Made up of 19 lines and five stanzas of three lines goes by the name of Villanelle. Limerick creations are funny and at times can be rude. Ode Musically performed pieces are nice on the ears. Particular subject Elegy is clear and direct. Last but not least there is Ballad that typically tells a dramatic emotional story.
