Urban Rants were created to have a space to say random thoughts, rants, or feelings. This page is open to the public for all to post. Still, Please be respectful of others in the Urban Poems community. Sometimes you just need to say it out loud without making it into a big deal. That is what Rants & Raves is for. I feel this is a great option for visitors of Urban Poems to get a vibe of others by using Community Post. Urban Rants was created because I myself love to express random thoughts.
Even so typing it out loud just gets it off of my chest. Most Social Media forces you to create a profile; which let’s face it people will stone you for anything you say. At least here you can just change your username and keep chatting lol. Hey let them argue with themselves. With that being said that doesn’t mean you should be a troll. It is just to say that you can abandon a social media disagreement if you wish. Anyways, chat away.

I realized that sometimes you just have to take a step back and focus on the foundation. That is probably why I have been feeling the need to pull back on posting my writing and poetry.
Hi everyone, I had some time on my hands today so I did updates to the quotes page. I haven’t posted new quotes in a while because I couldn’t figure out how to do what I needed. Today it just came to me its like when you are looking for something that is lost and it was right in your face the whole time. Now that I did the main updates on quotes page I will start posting new quotes. I may change other things as time goes on. It’s a lot of work to re-arrange all of your work so I try to fix things before I post years worth of work or it could take a very long time to redo. Anyways y’all go and check out the updated quotes page.
I also want to say that Gabby did her thing on the 4×100 that 3rd leg was flying. But all the girls did an amazing job. I was also looking at some clips from last year and the girl Jefferson that did first leg seems like an interesting runner also. And the first leg this year did great but I have to see her a few more times to familiarize myself to her because I just started watching it like a week ago.
I am truly an introvert so an extrovert may be able to handle high loads of energy exchanges but I can not. I live more in my own internal world than anything. People need to learn to accept that all black women don’t have to be social. People need to stop thinking that they know what somebody else needs to do. Our goals are not the same. I consider myself a very kind person that is quiet unless we are already locked in then I won’t shut up lol. Everyone is different so everyone moves according to who they are.
I really enjoy watching track and field sports. I have been watching it every since Sha’Carri won the 100meters and it is very entertaining. I also like Tee Tee Terry. So far my top two favorite runners. I have watched a little of all of the sports lately but track and field is my favorite. I am not really a sports watching person like that either but track and field is highly entertaining.
Still doing a mental decompressing which means at this moment I have decided not to take in certain energies in and I am also not putting out energy. Poetry and writing or anything that I do here I want it to always be a passion and not a responsibility. So therefore I probably won’t be posting no new work until I feel passionate to do so. I have plenty of work to share but at this moment I don’t have that kind of energy to put it out. I need all of my energy for myself and my family. Thank y’all for understanding.
