Poem titled Appreciate Peace

Recognizing Peace

Peace is everlasting love that intermingles with trial and comfort. Peace is like the beautiful centerpiece that makes a room beautiful. Trials are the warrior inside of you wanting to be whole. It is not toxic to understand that there is no peace without trial. It teaches you how to appreciate and recognize peace. Even those that have had peace without trial; don’t understand that they have had peace. If peace is all you have ever had you won’t understand the value of it.

When I say those that have had peace without trial I am speaking of possibly babies or maybe children. Sadly, sometimes they don’t even get to experience peace without trial. People that stayed months in the hospitals on ventilators during covid and recovered should understand and appreciate peace. After going through something so tragic, it has to be peaceful to just be able to breathe on your own. If the Most High has granted them peace they are probably mentally in a really safe place. The things you learn to value when they are taken away.

Understanding Trial

Why do you think people that are barely making it financially will give to the homeless before a rich person. They likely had some hard nights sleeping at a bus station or worse. For the ones who let trials soften their hearts and not harden it. Which makes them care a little more for those that are struggling worse than them. We all know that the poor give more than the rich. Being down can teach you how to pull the next person up. Now that they have their own apartment; they don’t care that it’s outdated. In fact they love it; because of their struggle they know the value in even having an apartment. It is the same with peace.

Furthermore, you really think about it after you are betrayed by many, after all of the tears from the stones that life throws at you. Then you understand and appreciate the value of peace. Even so, you learn to intermingle peace with all trial and tribulation. While closing your eyes and centering yourself in the midst of the storm you look into the eyes of peace. At that very moment you cry tears of joy. There is nothing like peace in the midst of the storm. It is truly an invincible feeling. I appreciate peace, she has truly been a friend to me. She comes from the heavenly father.

The Laborers Are Few

What’s more, I think that one of the biggest misconceptions about the Most High is we think that he blesses us without work. Anything that he gives you, he has an instruction manual on how to obtain it. He is truly a teacher. Nothing is too complicated for the creator to make you skilled in works. As long as you understand that you are here to serve him and not the other way around. Therefore follow his lead. Some people may say well I have felt the trial but never the peace. I would say to you, truly seek the Most High without rebellion.

Travail, without turning into a survivor. I know you are probably thinking, isn’t it the goal to survive? No, surviving is not the goal. Surviving means barely made it. Anyone who lives through trauma survived. You can be without a soul and still be a survivor. If there was no food on the earth for months people would eat people to live and call themselves survivors. The goal is to be a warrior. Warriors are the 5 people that decided not to eat other people and learned how to make the soil nutritious enough to grow food again.

Be One Of The 5 Warriors

Learning to center your soul in the midst of trial will make you a warrior. You will be a thriver. You would be one with integrity. Your stance will be the stance of strength. There is none like inner strength. Inner strength is integrity, healing, love, compassion, understanding your weapons, the ability to move forward, building and knowing when to re-build. With that being said there is no inner strength without the Most High. If you choose the Most High you choose strength. You choose to be a warrior. You choose peace.
